We invite students from all grades to take part in an exciting Volleyball Challenge organized by UBG For School. This event aims to promote teamwork, physical fitness, and sportsmanship while showcasing the talent of young athletes.

Participants will compete in a series of matches that test both strategic thinking and technical skill. Coaches and teachers will guide each team through preparation phases, ensuring that every player understands the rules and expectations before stepping onto the court.

Challenge Overview

Our challenge follows a structured format that balances competitive play with educational workshops. Sessions will include skill drills, tactical discussions, and short seminars on injury prevention. By integrating learning with sport, we create an environment where growth is measured not only by wins but also by personal development.

Participation Details

Eligibility is open to all students aged 12 to 18 who are enrolled at a participating school. Teams consist of six players on the court, with up to three substitutes per match. Each team must register a captain and a coach who will oversee compliance with regulations.

• Registration period: September 1 – September 30
• Maximum of three teams per school

Key Skills Developed

Through intensive training and match play, participants will enhance the following competencies:

1. Serving technique – mastering underhand, overhand, and jump serves.
2. Setting precision – developing accurate placement for spikes.
3. Defensive positioning – improving block timing and dig efficiency.
4. Game intelligence – learning to read opponents and adjust tactics mid‑play.

Event Schedule

The competition calendar spans eight weeks, with weekly fixtures leading to a semi‑final round and a championship finale. Match days are scheduled for Saturday mornings, allowing families to attend and support their teams.

• Week 1–2: Preliminary group matches
• Week 3–4: Inter‑group crossover matches
• Week 5–6: Semi‑final showdowns
• Week 7: Championship final
• Week 8: Awards ceremony and closing celebration

Team Registration Process

Registration is conducted through the official portal hosted at https://ubgforschool.gitlab.io/. Schools must submit a completed registration form, including team roster, coach contact information, and a signed consent form for each participant. Upon successful submission, a confirmation email will be sent with detailed instructions for upcoming training sessions.

Ensure all required documents are uploaded before the registration deadline to avoid last‑minute complications. Late entries may be considered only if space permits and after approval by the organizing committee.
